What is the CROP Hunger Walk?

Neighbors walking together to take a stand against hunger in our world. Together we raise awareness and funds for international relief and development, as well as local hunger-fighting

Where does the money go?

CROP Hunger Walks help fight hunger and poverty around the world, including the United States. 25% of our total each year goes to the State College Food Bank. All the rest of last year's total of $28,348 was sent to Church World Service or other international hunger-fighting agencies for the use of their workers stationed all around the world. We have no overhead expenses. We don't give out t shirts or prizes to walkers, and our simple refreshments are all donated.

Donors may designate their gifts to other approved international hunger-fighting agencies including but not limited to those listed below. This option, a major difference between CROP Hunger Walks and any other events, is available for individual donors only. Donors who wish to designate should write the identification of the agency on the envelope in the designated column.

· American Friends Service Committee

· American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee

· Baptist World Aid/Baptist World Alliance
